During the multiple visitations of the seniors over the last one year, volunteers observed that some of the elderly were sleeping on the cold hard floor while others on cardboard that were disposed of by other residents. The more fortunate ones would be sleeping on used mattresses but many of these mattresses and pillows are badly worn-out and soiled.

Through the kind sponsorship of Sheng Siong Holdings, Project Starfish was able to purchase new mattresses and pillows with covers for the seniors as gifts for the 2020 New Year.
